SciFi Fairy Tales: The Winner is...
First, I want to thank everyone who participated and also thank Lauren Davis and Hugh Hart for the last minute publicity. Below, in no particular order, are all of the submissions in the SciFi Fairy Tales art contest:
The Tortoise and the Hare by Jason Hager.
The Three Little Pigs by Matthew Blissard.
Little Boy Blue by Erek Jones.
The Little Mermaid and Humpty Dumpty by Shane Parker.
Snow White by Dean Reeves.
Rapunzel by Shannon Reeves.
Genesis by Simon Thalmann.
The boy who cried wolf by Jacob Green.
All excellent entries. But this month, I picked Cormac McEvoy's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves as the winner:
Cormac, your $100 Threadless credit is on the way. Jason Hager randomly won the $25 credit. Thanks again to everyone who participated.
Meanwhile, for everyone else, t-shirts are still only $10 at Threadless. And if you live in the US or Canada, you can still win an art print by JSalvador by commenting here.
I was going to wait until Monday, but instead I'll announce this month's art contest later today.

SciFi Fairy Tales: The tortoise survives hyperspace
Jason Hager shows that paying a little extra for tortoise wax hyperspace pod strengthener is well worth it.
There's still time to submit an entry for the SciFi Fairy Tales art contest.
*Buy McFarlane's Twisted Fairy Tale toys at eBay.
Spaceman Spiff Lego CubeDude
Calvin/Spaceman Spiff Lego CubeDude by Ryan Wood. Yes, he also made a Hobbes.

T-shirt sale at Design By Humans
Lots of $13 t-shirts at Design By Humans right now, including t-shirts I like. And contest winners I've mocked:
Hard to believe that one didn't sell out immediately. I mean it did win a contest.
Dessert furniture
Cupcake chair and table, ice cream bar bench, and xylophone table by Jellio.
*Previously: Sheep throne.
*Order gourmet desserts at Amazon.
