Genius federal agents finally figure out that the anthrax expert with the history of making homicidal threats...

was the guy who sent out the anthrax-laden letters in 2001.

You've probably heard by now that Bruce Ivins committed suicide when he learned he would be charged for sending out the letters, and you've probably also heard that he was 62 years old and worked for the federal government as an expert on anthrax. But the best part of the story is that he "has a history dating to his graduate days of homicidal threats, actions, plans . . . ."

So it took seven years to figure out the government expert on anthrax with a habit of making homicidal threats just might be an excellent suspect?
