Now witness the awesome firepower of this fully operational blogging station

My old Dell died (for the second time) in mid-October and I've been sharing my wife's computer in the meantime. My new Dell came today.

1. Oh my, I never imagined how different the web looked when you used a large monitor. I just made the leap from 1024x768 to 1680x1050. My site, for example, takes up only one-third of the screen.

2. Over the last two weeks, I used Google Chrome. I saw nothing about it that was better than Firefox. It's worse because, as far as I can tell, it doesn't have several of the tools I use frequently such as Screengrab.

3. As to the old computer, it won't boot up. Anyone know what this specific error message means: I/O card parity interrupt at c000:5c98

4. And is there a legit way to transfer everything on my iPod to my new computer, or do I have to find a workaround?

Finally, I was reminded of this Battle of Endor costume when I started writing up this post:

It's by Dave Smith, and you can read all about it here.
