Skyscraper Airport (and the weirdest phone service mascot ever)



The Skyscraper Airport of Tomorrow features parking spots for zeppelins big and small. The airport was featured in the November 1939 issue of Popular Science, which is loaded with other gems, including this ad for Bell Telephone System, which features a bizarre phone/Highlander creature:
