American Apparel is selling defective clothing

Why trash defective clothing when with a little imagination, you can make it seem extra desirable? Pictured above is the Helvetica Alphabet T-Shirt, part of American Apparel's "Irregular Collection." American Apparel explains:
Rather than waste garments with small yet interesting imperfections, our creative team goes back to the drawing board and comes up with solutions that makes them even more unique. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and each style is made in very limited quantity. Be on the lookout for the next round of designs.
The shirt is $20 and on sale here. Via.
