Relatedly, there's a great article about McG by Mark Borden in Fast Company. His real name is Joseph McGinty Nichol, he was friends with Mark McGrath, produced Sugar Ray's first album, cowrote "Fly" and "Every Morning" (man I hate those songs), directed a bunch of music videos, hit a homerun with Charlie's Angels (which I like), and the story almost ended there because of his agoraphobia.
