Students at Gobelins created short films filled with monsters to open each day of the Annecy film festival. You can watch them all below. Fenrir is my favorite, so I posted a few stills to convince you to watch:
Fenrir by Nuno Alves Rodrigues, Oussama Bouacheria, Alice Dieudonné, Aymeric Kevin, Ulysse Malassagne. A wolf eats the sun, but his satisfaction is short lived (although I believe Skoll is the one who eats the sun).
Monstera Deliciosa by Jérémy Macedo, Julien Perron, Ornélie Prioul, Rémi Salmon. Beware dancing succubi.
Le Lac Gele (The Frozen Lake) by Jean-David Fabre, Fabien Guillaume, Sébastien Hary, Paul Nivet, Vincent Verniers. In which an unusual conveyance is made use of.
Dodudindon by Lucrèce Andreae, Julien Chheng, Tracy Nowocien, Rémy Schaepman. Randy bird people enjoy a ball.
Jelly Sunday by Ugo Bienvenu, Julien Daubas, Clément Desnos, Florian Parrot, Arthur Peltzer. A little girl befriends some mischievous jello and has great fun . . . for a short time. Via these fine sites.
