High-Calorie Mayonnaise; Oversized Novel

Kraft sells something called Extra Heavy Mayonnaise: "specifically designed for foodservice operations. It's high oil and egg content provide superior binding and cling in prepared salads and salad dressings." One serving has 90 calories. Via.

The photo you see above is not of Extra Heavy Mayonnaise. Rather, it's a warning from a frighteningly large bucket of Costco Mayonnaise.

And speaking of heavy stuff, this is Robert Bolano's latest book, called "2666: A Novel":

It will be simultaneously released as a 912-page hardcover and as a three-volume paperback set and has already made at least one best of 2008 list. You can see photos of the paperbacks here. The hardcover is 40% off at Amazon.
