Rob Bricken is running a Best/Worst Nerdy Birthday Stories contest at Topless Robot, which reminded me of one of my favorite birthday parties - - seeing Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn with a bunch of friends.

A seeker named Dogen rescues Dhyana [Kelly Preston] after her father is murdered by the evil Jared-Syn.
