Stylish Medusa (link roundup)

3. Lots of revolting photos of a whole chicken in a can. Relatedly, Gizmodo is hosting a Photoshop contest to see if anyone can come up with something more revolting to put in a can.

4. At least one flu expert says paper masks "don't keep viruses away, they keep people away."

Bionic Satyr Stilt Legs (and more)



That's right, Kim Graham created bionic satyr stilt legs. You can see her walking around in them in the video below, and halfway through the video she wears the furred version:



The "Digigrade leg extensions" are just the tip of the iceberg of the wonderful creations on display at her site, including this giant paper mache treeman:
