Big thumbs up to the demo for the new Penny Arcade game

Last night, I downloaded the demo for On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One. It downloaded, installed, and ran smoothly on my (at least) four-year-old XP machine (and my computer was very average when I got it). Gameplay was entirely controlled by the mouse and similar to classic Final Fantasy adventures - - wander around, enter essentially turn-based battles, talk to passersby. I actually found the dialogue a bit tedious, but the gameplay, animation, and sound were fun and funny (lots of fruitf*ckers). Well worth the download.
